Technical Assistance and Cayen

To meet the federal accountability requirements of the Kentucky 21st CCLC initiative, the Center for Evaluation and Education Policy (CEEP) provides evaluation services and technical assistance to support the implementation and development of the program. Located within the School of Education, CEEP draws upon the resources of Indiana University to deliver an efficient and effective combination of advanced evaluation methodologies. The evaluation for KDE’s 21st CCLC program includes formative and summative evaluation techniques, frequent data monitoring and quality monitoring activities, and website maintenance. Evaluation data are collected primarily via an online repository of site-level data and program site visits, and yearly reports are provided to each site and to the state. CEEP faculty leading the evaluation for KDE’s 21st CCLC program are Colleen Chesnut, Ph.D., and LeeAnn Sell, M.P.A.
